- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The doctor tried to brow beat my 77 year old mother into procedures she didn't need (dental implants for teeth pulled a decade ago, a cyst on her forehead her primary care physical had already told her was harmless.) They then quoted her a ridiculously high price for the procedures she did need--teeth removal, bone graft. When she said she simply wanted her abscessed teeth removed because she couldn't afford the bone graft, they came down on the price for the full procedures by $1000. Going to the dentist shouldn't feel like a trip to the used car dealership with up selling and price haggling. Shame on this group for bullying and scaring elderly people into thinking they must have procedures they do not need.February 14, 2017by Lori Wilde
